TX Product(s) used: NandX
Console Type: Jasper
NAND size: 256
Dashboard version: 2.0.16202
CB version: 6754
Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner:

J-Runner log:

updflash.bin log (if applicable):

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Description of problem:
Setting up Nand-X (i'm already done a couple of xbox before) , got many read error and different nand result, i though maybe my Nand-X wire is not good (take some look and refixing them), re-read again, still got same error, remove Nand-x trying to boot and then got RROD 0022 after 28 seconds

Was the console working before you started: Yes

I just want to know, what should i check ? I'm already check the nand chip, no any splashed solder, and use magnifier to find a culprit without any result. What should i do?

thanx all for the help

Have you have only read nand and not written to it. I would disconnect your reader and wires then see if it boots, 0022 code usually points to gpu fault(reball) did the 2 nand dumps compare ok ? write nand back if compares ok then try boot

If you've not written anything to the console, remove everything you've soldered and try powering it on again.
I've already done so and already explain it too on template-description above.
If it can boot properly i think i will never ask for help.

The problem is i just tried to read nand, while jrunner gave me many error read and different dump result, i cancelled it, remove Nand-X and then the box not boot properly like before.

It's a good suggestions, but i dont know who should i ask to take a look for in my cities haha LOL.

I just bought these second hand xbox, without RGH system, tried it before about only 5 minutes and deal. Then i just want to apply RGH, at first step it already make me dizzy, never happen before.

Mr.Martin, may i ask some suggestion from you ? just want to know what point should i check?
My assumption was these box 0022 problem maybe related to nand read error. Any chance of that ? Thx for the support

0022 has nothing to do with you trying to read the NAND unless you've left a mess after removing it.

Can you take pics of everywhere you've soldered to?

I'm only soldering to the point where nandx wire should be. Just as seen on picture i've attached above, although that was the second soldering.

I will remove it and take a picture again ASAP

@davyboy, thx, I will go take a look

Btw I read in other website that hot glue will conduct electricity. I found one splash covering one of resistor and some point. I will try to remove it and give report for the result

Hot glue is not conductive. Not sure why anyone would ever write that.

Have you managed to write anything to the console? If not, your CPU probably needs a reflow/reball.

I haven't write anything, just want to read , i'm trying to careful, that's why while jrunner gave some bad block and different nand comparison i decided to recheck, remove nandx wire and powering on then these RROD occurred.

I'm owning 4-5 jasper, some sold and i know all of them still running until now from 2010, never seen Jasper RROD like Falcon did, AFAIK its very rare, am i just unlucky ?

I think i will send to someone to trying reballing it :(

Thx anyway .

Oh almost forgot, i had another JAsperBB with damaged nand chip, it is really not compatible with Falcon one? because i replace the chip, can write and read but with error and can not powering on.

YES, Really only that :(.

Oke, i need one more thing to confirm. I've connecting my nandX to other Xbox and read write properly.

But why only these XBOX always got this ??
----------
Reading Nand

Comparing...Takes a while on big nands
Bad Block ID 0002 Found @ 0x01FF [Offset: 0x41DF000]
Block ID 01FF [Offset: 0x41DF000] remapped to Block ID 0002 [Offset: 0x42000]
Bad Blocks Remapped
Bad Block ID 0002 Found @ 0x01FF [Offset: 0x41DF000]
Block ID 01FF [Offset: 0x41DF000] remapped to Block ID 0002 [Offset: 0x42000]
Bad Blocks Remapped

----------------------

And always gave different nand comparison result. Is it true my NAND SMD chip broken ? and because it broken then it cause RROD ?

Just my assumption based on my limited knowledge, and i was ask because i'm not sure :)

So if it only bad block why the result always got different nand ? I dump perfectly on other xbox. So if these box not RROD i think it will still not be able to RGH-ing it because always got different Nand dump ?
