slim/nandx messed up after writing freeboot in grims nand tool that is in jtag tool my nand x shows up in device manager but will go away if move it a little towards my xbox its on v3 code any ideas? now on to my rgh slim it worked fine before but after writing the freeboot this happened i would normaly just flash the og nand back to it i need help guys f**ked up bad :( :(

Wait guys, he said if he moves his nand-x around a bit it dosen't work. Can you even use the nand-x at all?

It should be obvious that since the majority of an RGH install is hardware/soldering, that pics of your work would be needed. Can you post clear images of what you've already done?

Sounds like your nand x is toast. Talk to whoever you bought it from and see if they have a warranty. If not, you need to buy a new one in order to reflash the image. I don't think it's an issue with your soldering, probably just a bad freeboot file. You should create the freeboot file yourself using 360 multibuilder just to make sure it was created properly. There's a chance the AIM file transfer could have corrupted the file.
