Ubergeek:

Is TX going to do something about the missing Vista64 driver for the new Nand-X v3.
The current driver works with the (unflashed) Nand-X v2 under x86 and x64, but only works with v3 under x86 (tried XP 32, Vista 32 and Vista 64).

Somebody later in the thread said that v3 does work with Win7 64, but I hate that OS.
It's not a big deal, just wanted to share my results with everybody.

Thanx

Look, I got it working on Vista64 with my unflashed nand-x before it was updated to v3.

The problem now is trying to make Vista64 ACCEPT v3, using those same drivers.

You will get an error to the effect that "the driver is not intended for this platform".

Just try it yourself on a Vista64 machine...
I hate arguying, just do it and come back.
Nand-X has to be on v3 though.

YES DAMMIT!

For the record, the file on vista64 is "PTLIBUSB0.DLL" or something, and no, deleting it is just like uninstalling the old driver that doesn't work anyway.
Trust me on this, I tried it on 3 different pcs, and v2 worked on all 3, so i don't have the same problem that other dude had in your thread...

I am deeply sorry, but people need to stop arguing and just try it.

laters,
People don't NEED to help you. They're offering you their time, free of charge.

V3 works perfectly for me on Win 7 x64. In fact, I updated V2 to V3 on my X64 machine, as well as flashed several Coolrunners and completed the entire RGH process on this machine.

Maybe a problem with Vista (why you would use Vista I don't know).

Thank you for your answer, all I wanted was a confirmation that it works on Win7 64 but not on Vista64. So I guess TX won't fix it for me, doesn't matter, i'll use XP or my Vista32 laptop...

Thanx again
