Hey there, i have the Nand-x from a while back before all this RGH thing began as i was going to j-tag my xbox with the old dashboard, but i could never get it done! It now has the 3 red lights, and i have another xbox here that i could try the RGH on.
I was just wondering, can i use this nand-x with the coolrunner from this package:
http://www.modtraders.co.uk/product.php?productid=405&cat=0&page=1

as i have read about a version 3 and i don't know what mine is to be honest. Also was wondering, what is this revision b of the coolrunner?
thanks

version 3 is just the upgraded firmware for the nandx.
The only thing this update does is give the nandx the ability to program the coolrunner.

If you don't want to upgrade your nandx, and you have an LPT port on your computer that package would work.

But if you have a CK3i or CK3 Pro then this is the cable to update the nandx.

If you don't have a either of those then this cable can update it from usb.

Once you upgrade the nandx all you will need is the coolrunner.
Optionally you can also get the qsb.

Rev B for the coolrunner has a capacitor built in for improving boot times on some consoles. It is the same as rev A plus this.

There are alot of great tuts here on updating the nandx

CK3i is the updated version of the CK3 Pro.
They are primarily for flashing drives.
If you don't have either don't worry about it, usb is your best option.

So even when I posted a link to my Google search (the same question you asked), you still didn't know how to click on the links in the list? Have you used a computer before? Have you used Google before? Can you read what's in front of you?

If ANY of these are 'no', don't even bother to attempt an RGH. Regardless of your current level of understanding, common sense and an ability to read what's in front of you are paramount. The RGH process is NOT for noobs as you still need to know how to solder.
