I have a Xbox Elite with an Xdrive fittted & the latest dashbord update. My question is this could I install a Nand-X make a backup of the nand, then if I was to be banned from live could I uncripple my xbox by reflashing the nand with the backed up file? I know that it is not possible to jtag it but I wondered if it was possible to do this.

i dont think u can and i believe but not sure thats its your kv u have to change if your banned maybe someone else can clarify.

I think he means, by saying uncripple, that it won't corrupt his profile once banned, he reflashes his NAND with the backup. But I'm not sure either. Lol.

Technically, yes, it will work. If you make a backup of your NAND in working condition which is not banned, then you could write it back in case your Xbox360 gets banned and starts to cripple profiles.

Once you write back the NAND backup which doesn't know that your Xbox360 has been banned(literally ), it won't cripple profiles.

Just remember not to try to connect to to Xbox LIVE, because if you do that, your Xbox360 will start crippling profiles again.

Also remember that the dashboard version has to be same on the backup as the current one installed on the Xbox360, otherwise it won't work. Plus, always remember to make a copy of the NAND which is in working condition before you start to mess with it.

Thats great thanks for the info so even though I can't jatag it, it is possible to dump & reflash the nand. I'm not banned at the moment I'm just planning ahead in case I get banned at some point.
