Hi All

having the same problem as a lot of people where im getting the error looking for usb device cannot continue when trying to dump my nand i have read alot of posts but with no solutions,have checked soldering and have also now tried all 3 ways of connecting to the falcon mobo the nand is( on V3 ) but im getting red and orange lights on nand have read post where the orange light should be green but this is what i need to no

long shot, but do you definatley have the correct device drivers installed? and does it appear iin device manager?

yes it is correct drivers 3.0 shows in device manager ok but i am still getting pop up on desktop saying did not install properly have removed and replaced but no change

fyi - the lights on my NAND-X are red and orange when conencted- does seem to be a driver issue though doesn't it?

yep same here and they should be red and orange. no usb device found is always poor soldering, even if it looks good it still may be a bad joint. having said that if you have powered the console with the nandx powered by the pc also you could have damaged it.

missed the driver not installing part, it will be that then. maybe run the driver installer as administrator

i had this before using the qsbs they had been fine every time id used them previous and my soldering is awesome if i do say so myself so i looked everywhere else then as a last resort i removed the qsb soldered in the pin headers and it worked fine my only guess is that the time previous when id removed the plug from the qsb id damaged it (they are quite tight in there)

if not using the qsbs it does sound like your soldering or maybe theat you not plugged the power supply in

Where did u get it from as I recieved one from xconsoles that
Was failty. When it was saying can't find usb interface device when my other 2.0 one worked fine so I knew it wasn't my soldering
