I bought
1 x Xecuter NAND-X
1 x Xecuter CoolRunner - Ultimate Reset Glitch Hack
1 x Xecuter NAND-X To CoolRunner JTAG Cable

I installed the QSB correctly, I used a 30w solder they feel pretty tight on there so there shouldn't be no issue. I'm on a jasper 512mb, i did the red + yellow solder as well since i'm not on a xenon.

I'm using nandpro 3 and i'm getting this. Any ideas?

What are you trying to do with nandpro when this happens? Flash the coolrunner?

If so make sure you are typing this:

nandpro xsvf: jasper.xsvf

I put both the jasper.xsvf and the jasper.jed file in the nandpro folder. Don't know if you need both but it worked for me...

Also if the coolrunner is already installed make sure the power is unplugged from the xbox and the coolrunner switch is not on NOR but the other one. I think it's PRG or something similar.

I don't have the coolrunner installed yet, i only installed the QSB and that's about it. I thought i had to do that and dump the nand then install/solder coolrunner cables onto the mobo.

I'm trying to get the nand, but i don't know if i'm supposed to even be getting that right now. I'll take a picture of my soldering.

Usually its a solder problem. I had the same thing, just make sure all the points are "melted" to the points on the board.

You have both QSB's installed? You said "the QSB" as in singular so making sure.

And yah, +1 to big073, check your soldering. After that make sure you use the write syntax with nandpro

Normally if your soldering is bad, you'll get "device not detected" or some such so it's still odd you got something different there.
