Try reinstalling drivers on your pc (perhaps try a different pc), reflash nandx, if still nothing resolder.

If none of that works then send it back to xconsoles, they can test to see if its defective and will replace if it is.

Ok, reinstalling drivers doesn`t help, i checked this nand-x on my laptop.
=/ It will take a lot of time to send this item back.

Trust me resolder your wires (at the very least for shizz and giggles). The soldering isnt horrible, but the yellow wire does look quite sloppy.

Where you located it shouldnt take long to send back

Thank you, but have you read my previous message? Pins are shortened, and it doesn`t depend on the wires.
I am from Russia, so it will be a long trip for NAND-X

I have read them. I'm trying to help, if you are so sure your soldering is fine then dont resolder and send it back.

Im telling you that your soldering isnt good, especially the yellow wire. You no how many people post here with the same exact problem that have bad soldering. They claim its their nandx.....3 pages later they finally listen and resolder...then problem solved.

Its not hurting anything to resolder, should take 15 seconds.

How did you test your points, how did you determine that the wires were shorting??

Your leads seam really long and could be touching (can't really tell from the pics) Are you running your CMD Prompt in Administrator Mode?

What does your NAND-X say under windows device manager?

The issue is windows and your nand-x if it was properly connected it would detect it and just give you errors at every block if it had to do with the soldering.

Try my above steps and report back. We will get this working tonight

I will try to resolder now. I am planning to install pin-headers, with them it`s much easier to find problems in soldering.
I tested all points by ringing them out to ground.
Yes, i am running CMD under administrator priveleges.

It's not your soldering! It's a windows issue. Post screen shot of device manager. Are you running nandpro in admin mode?

have you programmed your CR while it's connected to mobo by the nand-x?

if so, then please remember that you shouldn't programm CR and read nand with a single nand-x. many reports are coming of non working nand-x as if used for both works. thanks

I saw you mentioned you are running under administrator. I now know 100% it's your windows drivers/USB cable/port. The step it is failing on is nandpro looking for the USB device. Once it finds it it will read th NAND. If any of your soldering is off it will just start shooting errors at each NAND location. Please send a device manager screenshot. I KNOW there is something messed in there

Did you download dlportio? Are you using the drivers that came with nandpro3a? I have yet to have a computer where a NAND x shows up as NAND x. Usually it's a generic item. I will send a screen shot later. Follow F1B3Rs guide on how to setup the nandpro folder. If it doesn't detect USB you have a faulty NAND x and the only way to get it to work is to swap it
