Hey guys

Trying to dump a 512mb nand.
Getting error 0 from 31DD to 7FFF.
Using nandx. 64mb dump is fine and looks good in 360 flash dump tool.

Just dumped a 256mb nand the other day and no error 0s.

Using 30awg wire to a custom rj45 jack.
Could the ground wire not be a heavy enough gauge?

I will try again with everything on this breaker turned off.

Again soldering should be good since the 64mb dump is good. Will post pics if anyone wants though.

I'll check with a multimeter too.

Any other ideas?

are you absolutley sure this is in fact a 512mb jasper and not a 256? even then a 256 should read fine up till 3fff

EDIT: if you have 2 matching 64mb dumps your all good to go anyway, just so you know.

Yeah nxe said 300 something MBs free.
Flash Config: 0x00AA3020

And yeah that's the thing it doesn't even make it to 3FFF.

And yes I'm not too worried about it since I have the matching 64mb dumps, just like to have it for completeness sake

very strange indeed. you may want to do as you said and take a look at a better grounding wire.

also, sometimes the jtag points on the xbox, the solder that is there can be very tarnished/oxidized and may ,even though the solder is sticking to it,may not be giving a good connection. i always take either a xacto knife or a fiberglass brush and clean the points up a bit and try to make them shiny before i add flux and solder. this would be another thing i would want to try off the top of my head.

Hmm the spi points didn't really look bad...
I'll check the ground wire after I install the coolrunner, have to get rid of some damn hot glue.
