... just to let u know, i had the same issue. Lpt and another spi worked just fine, nand-x no. I bought it around june this years, used it a few times for some testing. Suddendly it stopped working, just like yours. I posted here, didnt get that much attention, someone said "just to send it back to reseller..." i did send it back, got a new one.

Beside my case, i was lucky it was still under warranty, what i really dont understand is why none (TX as producer at first!!) can give a hint on how to repair, or at least give some kind of reason why this can happen and what a poor out of warranty user can try to do.

Thanks.

I just hate it when a retailer tells you your 1 month out of the warranty period so go away..... very bad attitude in my opinion and not the way to treat customers.
In this case though, the OPs attitude is no better so he hasn't helped himself at all

Ah yes he says 1.5 years but he also said 13 months so in this case the op doesn't seem to be able to get his story straight. Personally I wouldn't even bother worrying about it, if it genuinely is a fault with the product and not caused by user error, its highly unlikely it will happen again if he buys a new one.

Took me 2 years to figure out the freezing problems with my PC were caused by my Core2Duo CPU. Eventually found out both cores were giving different CRC's for certain operations. Swapped it out for a Quad Core and all is good with it now. When I finally got around to finding out about warranty replacement, I was over the 3 years Intel gives by a couple of weeks.

Now the CPU was faulty from the beginning (swapped out motherboard, HDD's, memory, graphics cards) and it really was a pain in the ass trying to determine it. But, it was my own damn fault for waiting to get a refund/replacement.

You could eaasily verify that by pluging a LPT cable which wouldn't work either in your case..... My case is different than yours...
Maybe UbergeeK could inform us if they had made any board modifications,,, in NandX the last year as believe it or not I would like to buy another one.. LPYT is slow...
If instead of coming here to make chaos and blame the equipment that is just brilliant, I used the flux for good, done well for checking welds on well with the image of the exact points with the exact colors of the cable of the NAND-X, hours would have extracted the NAND without problems, even as others I do JTAG as a service, just this week 12 console between slim and phat, for over a year I have made very many, and very often goes out the mistake, the first thing, am referring 1 for 1 welds as best I can do, and then fail "Sbam" read perfectly!.

When you attack the NAND-X USB is detected it? So, 2 +2 is 4 because everywhere is the man not the machine, it's you that differ from all others, the NAND-X is the same for all 100,000 copies sold!

Here we help "free" even people who have bought products such as NAND-X and uses the LPT, is not the case venirsela to take with these people, as with Modtraders, but also they are very accurate and honest, and if they I hope you have contacted them to contacts or you will be more accommodating, and do more tests first, believe me! If then the NAND-X OK you're back where you are now, but if you try to redo all for good 1-2-3 times you've become even better at doing JTAG.
