Nandx Kit 2 Needed? SOLVED

The QSB with the switch on, is that essential for the RGH?

I only ask because I installed the nandx full kit to my falcon and then coolrunner and all works great.

I then did my sons but without the Kit#2 (switch) and all worked fine as well. His was also a Falcon.

You need the CoolRunner QSB which can be bought from all Xecuter resellers.

Not used any QSB's int he second machine (used headers to nandx and then wires to coolrunner)

i just used the normal Nand x phat QSB's when i done my jaspers, the only difference on the NAND-X & CoolRunner Phat QSB,s is the connection for the STBY_CLK orange wire

Yes i used the QSB's in the first xbox and that came with the KIT#2 part (The one with the switch, which you wire to df1b1 and to the front panel)
Second box i never had this so thought i would see how it went without that part and i had no problems, just wanting to know if that will be the case on other boxes.

Yet both seem to work exactly the same.

You ran to the ROL board? RGH doesnt use the db1f1 point nor does anything run to the ROL board. This was for the old Jtag hack not the RGH

I followed the install in the Nandx section hence why i used it on the first one. Your response has now answered the question for me thanks.
