I was trying to RGH Falcon 16MB....it was having bad block , i repair that....and problem is that nandx stop to work....(sopped at writing ecc) it is in system properties, when i plugged USB cable it is here...but when i try to read , write to NAND i got "looking for usb interface device Can not continue"...So i flashed Nandx again via Flash magic and CK3 cause i was thinking that maybe something got wrong with nand...some strange erase or something....nothing....it is not working (with that 2 mbos) ... Second thing is that i didnt power up console with NANDX plugged like some post says it can happen....After few days and 4 successufl RGH today i tried another MBO but again 16MB and it is Jasper model....i stucked at same position like with that Falcon MBO -at writing ECC file....Nandx working with another consoles but with that 2 -looking for usb-message...cannot read ,write nothing....and i cannot boot freebot...i dont use TX boards cause i just wanted to obtain DVD key im good with soldering and really need some opinion or help with that 2 consoles cause im afraid if 3 MBO  will be 16mb that i will have same problem...Please help me!

Check the wires from the NAND-x to the motherboard. Any broken or damaged wires will give you problems.

I'm assuming your soldering is ok too.

Did you plugged in the power to xbox?

also, check the brick color, if it's red then disconnect the brick from the power supply and reconnect, you should have a orange light. Never solder anything on the MOBO with the power plugged in, this will cause the red led on the brick.

Mh soldering station runs at 350 and I use flux, not the cheap liquid stuff either I actually use my reballing flux... amtech :)...Nothing but the best when I'm working on customers stuff or units I'll be selling :)

I'm sure amtech is over doing it but so many other flux's I've used leave a crap residue which I don't like or like to clean off for that matter. Amtech cleans off nice and leaves your solder with a nice shine :D

I would recheck the wiring as you seem to be unsure of it, but it does also sound like you are having usb issues if it works one time but not the next..
