ANSWERED nandx questions

hey all, i'm totally new to all this. Just have a few quick questions if anyone would be willing to help.

alright, so I ordered the phat bundle + the nandpro. little did I know that the jtag cable that they give you requires an LPT port which I don't have, so i'll be ordering the nandx to coolrunner cable so I can actually program the coolrunner, but thats not my question.

I want to make sure I get everything I need this time, and i'm not sure if i'm going to need the usb cable to update the nandx. I plugged the nandx into my computer and installed the drivers, my computer recognizes the nandx.

Next, I went to install nandpro v3.0

it says it cant install because its not compatible with 64 bit windows? is this a problem? do i need this to work to read/write my xbox nand? not sure what i need to do.

but yeah, i'm not too sure if i'm going to need the nandx usb update cable or not, and I want to make sure I get everything I need this go around.

just realised that on my nandx box it says "new v3 code"

i hope i didnt mess it up by installing those drivers?

bleh, i guess ill just buy the cable just in case

If your Nandx has v3.0 it does not need to be updated. The drivers have nothing to do with that. There are x64 drivers for the nandx. I have used them myself.

i didnt think i needed I needed to get the nandx update cable if I had v3.0 on it, just was a little confused since i installed the drivers and they said v2.0 i believe

one last question: if i'm planning on using jtag tool, i don't need to use nandpro, correct?
