hello
i just got a NAND-X v3

i soldered the QSB on my slim and i can not read NAND :(

The error in Jrunner is:

Flash Config: 0x00000000
Can not Continue
Can not continue

The soldering is OK, i tested it with a multimeter
i tried it both in WinXP and Win7
The console is plugged but turned off
I tried to reflash the NAND-X v3

What can i do please?
:( :(

I read elsewhere you need to downgrade to v2
"...the V3 code on the NAND-x will ALWAYS return the 'No USB Device' error, regardless. You would need to reflash the NAND-x with V2 code..."
I may be wrong but it's a suggestion! :D

ok solved.
i put more solder on some points and i got 2 same nands!

the problem now is with ECC
i create it and when i press "write ECC" i get many error like:

Error: 000 writing block E
Error: 000 writing block F
Error: 000 writing block 10
Error: 000 writing block 11

etc

Now what can cause that problem?

thanks in advance guys ... i am very nervous about this

Try unplugging your console and plugging it back in (make sure to not turn it on) and also unplug the nand-x from your pc and plug it back in.

Also, you didn't by chance turn your console on with the nand-x connected did you?

thank you
Statecowboy

I unplug&plug and i wrote the ECC

I connected the CR3 Lite on MB

the problem now is with XELL boot
I press the button to turn the console on.
i only hear the "beep" from the inside speaker.
No light in front of Console and the led on CR3 Lite is RED

Now what... :(
i almost finished but that sucks :(

PS when i put the switch to PRG and turn on the console the fan starts to work, the green light is constantly ON but no signal on TV

yes it is in normal mode when i boot.
i am almost sure that when i flashed the CR iit was in PRG. By the way it wasn't connected to MB so it was "on air" and i think that the switch doesnt mind in that case

To be sure, why dont you reprogram your CR - it won't hurt anything. Make sure you select the correct timing file for you MB. I'm not sure what you mean by "on air", but you need to be in pgoram mode when you program the CR.

Thank you again my friend. I will try it tomorrow.

How/where do i choose timing files? I thought i just press "flash coolrunner" in JRunner.

One more thing. When i flashes the switch was to "PHAT" (i forgot it there :( )
Can this make all that mess?
