need a new alt 5 wire

installed chip and everything has been working fine for about 3 weeks now. In my install, i kinda fried my 5vlt cord, and it looks extremely fragile. Just wondering if anyone knew where to buy on, or if someone has an extra they didnt use, if they could send me theirs. Write back if u know where or can give me one. Appreciate all help

lost my alt 5v wire

i lost my 5v wire and i've been trying to use just a regular wire soldered to the chip and to the regular point. i haven't been able to get the chip to work yet. is this why? if anybody has one i could have or any advice please let me know. thanks a lot

No not if you got go contact on both ends. You can take a voltmeter to check if you have 5v at the chip's end.
