Just be patient and wait for it to come it'll be well worth it. I screwed up my Zephyr using LPT. Box it back up and wait for the kit to come in

need advice for a beginner

i put everything back together because i was curious to see if the xbox would still power on and boot after clearing most of the holes in preparation for the nandx. but nothing, no power at all. any ideas what could be the problem.

Is this your JTAG'able console or your practice one?okay, got all the holes clear for the nand-x. problem is i don't have it yetany alternative way to dump? i also hope i didn't do any damage while desoldering/soldering that took me 3 days. i am afraid to plug it in only to see the RROD.
i have a question about the J2B1 points. do they also have to be desoldered like the J1D2. i believe there is like 13. from the pic they are on top i believe. i assume they do because wires probably haven to connect to each other. just want to make sure.
okay so i proceeded to solder/desolder the J2B1. got like 7 of the 13 holes done. i found the diagram that was clear that both that and J1D2 had to be clear for the nandx installation. i initially thought the J2B1 was for the jtag connection. oops, my bad
unfortunately it's the jtaggable one. i know i was stupid to do it, but patience is not one of my strengths. plus i was just too tempted. i guess you guys can lock me up and throw away the key

What a waste of time. 3 days ago you came here asking for help and for a moment I thought you were going to take it. However not two days afterwards, you've jumped in to wreck the points. Nobody here who can solder got good in two days.
Throw it away and cut your losses. Count it as one expensive mistake or post in the request a service section if you want to find someone local to repair it
