Need Clarification

Im building a new PC so i decided to buy a Lite-On IHAS burner but what im wondering is, will the burner have all the features it would have before modifying the firmware with the burner max firmware installed on the drive or will it only give it the ability to burn xgd3 discs. I dont want to have to buy another drive just for regular use.

normal function is still retained

you just get the added bonus of full burns on xgd3 games!

ahh ok thanks for the info. Just got my lite-on today but im wayyy too hung over to install it xD
