Hello guys,
Hardware:
Xbox 360 Slim
Dashboard 2.0.16756.0
Lite-ON DG-16D5S, FW 1175
Corona V2, as far as I can tell. See attached pictures. (It has the NAND on the back of the mobo, no bridging needed for R2C10, R2C6, R2C7).
I've been reading for a few hours and watching Youtube Videos but the more I watch the more I get confused.
So far I understand the following:
What I don't get is:
6. Do I need that ECC or whatever it's called to be able to extract the DVD firmware from the NAND or can I just type in the DVD key that xell gives me to build a new firmware? Which software does that?
7. Is my dashboard version going to prevent me from reset-glitching? I see a bunch of service offerings (not in my area) for the corona v2 and high version dashboards but none are as new as the one I'm running.
If anyone could clear up some of these for me, or point me to the right thread that has the last word as of today. I've been reading posts from 2012, some even older, not sure what to trust anymore.
Thanks.

I've been reading for a few hours and watching Youtube Videos but the more I watch the more I get confused.
So far I understand the following:
- I need a dump of my NAND (full, make sure it's properly read by dumping multiple time and comparing md5s or what have you). This requires the R/W Kit for the 4GB v2 Corona.
- I need to write a custom NAND to my console to get xell running. Apparently v2 Corona has no video output and I need to get to my console via a web interface (doesn't scare me, just wanting confirmation).
- I need a glitcher to run that custom NAND on my console and actually boot xell. No idea which one to use, most indicate Cool Runner Rev C. However, that one needs CR3-DGX v1.0s Add-on for dashboards higher than 14719. Can't find that add-on to save my life.
- Once I get my CPU and DVD keys, I will need to take the glitcher off, re-write my original nand dump back to the console and reboot.
- Get an unlocked board for the DVD drive and write a new firmware using the DVD key, by using the X360USB PRO (v2 has power incorporated, v1 needs the other thingie I can't name right now).
