hard drive ban corrupt? not me
do they only corrupt some hard drives?
One of my consoles was banned and i can take the HD off and put it on the unbanned fine and play. all my saves, everything work fine.
Same thing with one freind. though another freind had his whole hard drive whacked and lost his data.
anyone have info on why some banned consoles get thier HDs hit and others dont.
one theroy we came up with was if you were banned while playing or banned while the system was shut off.
my thought is if your system was shut off and they banned yoru account then they coudlnt send whatever file down to zero out your first sector.
do they only corrupt some hard drives?

i think so cause i thought mine was corrupted then i finnaly just stick it on my console and it works. Granted the profile didn't cause i retrieved it allready but the saves did.

that is not 100% true cause there are games i have the saves for that i played after being banned but before getting it legit.

this is why i say if your account gets banned before you get online i dont think they whack you cause my profile and everything was in tact.
