Need ftp Help

I am a total newbie and have no clue how to set up my x box to my computer all i know now is i need to use my hub connected to me x box
and to my computer.I need to know what program i need to use on the
x box and the computer and then how to transfer the files. :evil:

I think I also need help for ftp.
My XBox (v1.6 with X3 bios1959) and my PC are connected to a router with DHCP.
On a FTP app on my PC, I try to connect to the XBox but I can't.
I try to connect to 192.168.0.99 (the XBox IP given by the router) with user "xbox" and password "xbox". The FTP app find the XBox but doesn't accept connexion, it says "illegal login".

Have you ever had this trouble and (even if not), could you give help to solve this :?:

Yes, my DHCP is well working.
But the the bios of the X3 just change the login and password to "X3" instead of "xbox". That was just my problem.
And finally I found it and it works now !
