LITEON 0225 Need Full dump of firmware Using CK3 Blaster

Hello Forum,
I have recently acquired a second Xbox to allow online use on dash 13599 (The first Xbox being a JTAG). Now I tried to offline update it to the latest live dash and ran into a error code that means my drive has been tampered with and so the console update is cancelled. :facepalm: -http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/system-updates/software-update-errors

I am pretty competent with modding drives and understand that this could mean that the drive is on modded firmware (unknown version) and this is preventing the update. But in order to reset the drive to stock I need the DVD Key. I also understand that once a drive is modded, the normal way of extracting the key becomes obsolete due to the change in behavior of the chipboard. (Unless that no longer effects key getting now) Aside from doing the MRA "hack" to get the full dump, is there any Team Xecutor products that would be easier to use for performing this task?

Error was you were going from 13599 to 14699, we also need more info of what drive you had.

it was a lite-on 93450c drive before the 13599 update HW rev A0A2 | Made September 2009

As I mentioned it was a brought xbox and I do not know if the drive is modded or modded with what version xtreme or Lite-touch. But the error from updating makes me suspect its earlier than v1.9 LT.

I've been thinking of getting the xbox 360 RGH'd to just get the key and drive info off the motherboard, then back to stock.

I did originally hope that you could say use the JTAG to capture the key challenge and response to allow for a quick & painless extraction of the key. But why'd anyone need that :p When you have CK3 and Jungleflasher!

EDIT: I need to mention that yes the current dash IS 13599 and I am trying to make it go to the latest dash. 14699.
Mainly to access my previously purchased content for my JTAG and allow online play if wanted.

If I am reading this right you have an non jtag box that you want to update the dash?

If that's the case just connect the drive (jungle flasher will tell you if the drive has been spoofed) if it is the correct drive for the board (non spoofed) flash to stock firmware and update dash via any method, live USB or cd.

Yes that is correct but the xbox dashboard is throwing a error that indicates that the dvd drive has been "tampered" with.
I would flash to stock and update from 13599 to 14699 but I don't have the dvd drive key for the xbox.
However I don't think that I can extract the key with the normal procedure as I believe that the drive has been modded with a earlier xtreme firmware

Works with ALL firmware updateable drives (Hitachi, Samsung, Benq & Liteon)

Okay searching around, if I purchase the Xecuter PMT conversion cable, I can reuse the probe that was included with the CK3 Blaster to do a full firmware dump or just the key extraction?

Also the CK3 blaster is no longer required - just for easy flashing between LT V3 and 0800 v3 firmware right?

You still need the probe to get your key once you have that then you do not need it for the DVD drive ( current), also yes the conversion would work for key extraction, full firmware dump is with jungle flasher but you still need to spoof key and that is where the probe comes in, so the key can be extracted. Hope that helps

Well today I got the PBT conversion cable and used the mini-probe included with the CK3-Blaster, turns out the dvd drive was a 73450c drive and still had this firmware on it - not modded, that and the chip definitely looked like it had been swapped into this new "drive" (solder on the pads for the drive motors and such) it also explains why the xbox wouldn't update, wasn't right expected 0255 liteon drive. It has updated fine but now I need a new drive as I have confirmed that the laser is screwed and so I do not know whether it IS the correct key or not.

Thanks and now I can extract my friends key's without too much hassle - they also have liteon's and update their firmware to LT v3.0
