Hi guys. Noob here. I just purchased a Xbox 360 arcade edition jasper 256 mb never been opened 360 about an hr ago. I looked at the dash and i have dash D: 2.0.8498.0 - K 2.0.8498.0 (bk:2.0.1888.0) (e:0) x: 2520-FF07-0A4e-D713
From looking at the expolit chart i have to RGH1 this console correct?
I ordered a Cool runner rev c 5-20-14. should be here tue. Can i use this for this console to rgh 1. It is a offical tx coolrunner not some knock off with the xlinx.
Im trying to gather everything i need to perform the mod.
I have all my tools i.e soldering irons, wire, desolder ect... i also have a sata to usb adapater with its on power supply.
What else do i need. Programs, hardware ect...
A good tutorial also.
I have very good solder skills. good understanding about computers and software. Im an electrical engineer for the state of maryland.
There is so much information on the internet that im confusing myself. Can i get some guidance to what im should be doing.
What i should be buying.
The overall goal is to mod this xbox, install xex menu. freestyle dash. upgrade the hdd to a 1tb or possible 2tb. Run emulators. and rip games i have already so they can be played from upgraded dash. Im sorry if this post has already been covered links to it would be nice. I just found out about the wonderful world of tx and modding 360's. Ive been modding the orignal xbox for about a year now. Upgrading hdd and soft modding them with all the old school emmulators and games. via ftp. Thanks
