Wich is the status led of your X3? Red, Blue?
Have you installed a dashboard like Evox or Avalaunch?
Try to quick press the "on" button of your box, the led of the X3 should be Blue (on), the press the withe button to acces into X3 Config Live settup (Bios of the X3).
If the chip no goes to blue, maybe you need to check your soldered points.

do you have another dashboard installed?
if yes then check your installation of your chip
otherwise hold down the white button on startup that should get you back to the config live screen

My Benq is recognized as a PLDS DG-16D2S???

On the sticker of my Benq drive, it clearly says its a VAD6038. When I plug it into my computer and read it via jungleflasher, it claims that is a DG-16D2S. Thus I can't dump the key as I would a VAD6038.

I've had my drive flashed before by another person and also I bought this XBOX used.

Is it possible that this Benq was spoofed as a DG-16D2S and isn't the original drive? If so, how do I get the key from it?

Yes, it is spoofed as a liteon, however, the dumping method does not change, as it is still Benq hardware.
Power the drive on with tray half open and intro it with jungleflasher, that will set status 0x73 (vendor mode) then read the firmware as per normal.
You will need to make sure any firmware you flash to it is spoofed as liteon too, as your console obviously expects that drive.

Re: My Benq is recognized as a PLDS DG-16D2S???

Alright. I guess I must be doing something wrong then. If you could be so kind to help me out here, it'd be much appreciated.

I have an nForce 4 chipset running vista x32 using jungleflasher 1.55. I have tried dosflash too.

1) Connect Xbox w/ sata connection to motherboard
2) Plug in video output
3) Boot computer
4) Manually installed portio32, disabled VAC and used dseo
5) Add hardware > have device > portio32.inf
6) Turn on xbox > vendor mode
7) Boot JungleFlasher (using 1.55)
8) Click MTK
9) Select the hex with the DG-16D2 (sometimes I get a blue screen here)
10) Select "read" > "invald 0x50"

Great. Any ideas guys?
