Ok for some reason ive tried slayers then i tried another disk my friend had made n both times with both disks i still get no dash board my dipswitch on my x3 is set to on on off off off... i dunno what the problem is cause everytime i try to take the dash off the disks it all copys n everything but when i reboot turn back on it gives me my x3_1959 bios again i have no clue, maybe if someone ran into the same problem as me they could help me out..with my 1.0 mobo i would appreciate it

You mean it boots to X3 config live?
If so, then you need to disable the automatic booting to configlive!

Yea it comes up from my x3 1959 n just stalls there me n my friend already tried and ava is installed on the c drive on my hdd it just wont let it boot up to ava....i get like x3 configlive...bios tools.....disk tools..... eeprom tools.... settings.....hardware info....reboot to dash.....cold reboot.....and power off n it has a xecuter symbol spinning in background im gonna go ahead and disable config live if this dont help i dunno???? 
ALSO forgive me about this double post forgot to mention it in last reply is that my banks are on on and off and off is that a problem why it wont launch to ava??

If your Xbox is booting straight to config live, then you need to disable this in order to boot to a dashboard.
Have you even read the X2 n00b guide on the tutorials??
Look at the dashboard installation - you'll see this.

I've used verbatim and have never had a bad burn, but i'mma go for the Aone's recommeneded by Farly as they're ALOT cheaper! I heard they're just as good!

Farly, is spot on. Alot of people say verbatim, but Aone dl discs are way cheaper and I personally swear by them.

Definitely went through over a 1000 of these discs, they're top notch. The ironic thing is that the burners have copped it before the discs have, went though 1 or 2 burners burning so many discs! :L
