I bought a "broken" modded xbox with a chip that looks like an older Xecuter (there's no markings, and it most resembles a 2.2, but it is red). The xbox itself is a v1.1.
The only things wrong with it was they installed the chip BACKWARDS (idiots
), and the bank switch is missing from the front.
When I started working on it, it was doing the christmas lights thing, but then when I turned it around, it started booting with a green light. But, there is nothing on screen. I have the startup sounds, but no video. Then, the light starts slowly flashing red and green.
I think the switch may have been set wrong or something before it was removed/lost...any suggestions/knowledge of what is actually wrong with it would be appreciated
