OK, Ive asked before a similar question but I have moved further now.
I have an X3 soldered into a V1.0, the pin header was installed by the person who I got the motherboard from and has a top class job done on it.
The LAN, HD and D0 wires have been soldered by the same person but due to not being able to disable the chip I have redone them again, still not able to disable the chip (FRAG)!
when I boot the xbox with chip on all is fine, just cant disable for Live.
Ive checked the D0 and resoldered it, I have done a few X3's now and cant see what this problem is.
I have an orginal M$ hard disk locked to this board, and still nothing!!!
I thought a bad D0 would stop the chip from enabling, could it also stop it from disabling??
