have version 1.1,x3 chip install load to flash screen,burn bios to cd-r, when i select load bios from disk,xbox doesn't seem to recognize disk ( not media or dvd drive, i've done a few x2 have no problem), try http get message unknown flash halting, is it my bios, i have 3294 1mb from xboxs.bin,have swith on,on,off,off,off,switch on chip to flash protect off, couple of question i've read that x3 come with flashbios 3.0.3 how can i load this,and can you reset chip if yes how? totally stumpted please help?

3.03 should be on bank 5678, not that it should make any difference. Not sure what you mean by "reset chip".
Try puting the flash protect (on chip) the other way. Some chips were labeled up wrong.

sorry meant cd-rw,also try with flash protect the other way don't work,when insert disk to flash screen flash message "please insert cd- flashing mode",also rename 3294 to bios,burn to different media still same problem, could it be bios,download from xbins.
did you try your http attempt with flash protect in both positions? First one that you mentioned obviously connected but had switch wrong way. Try the other way, as adam mentioned - some had the wrong label
