need help connecting my xbox to net

ok i how do i do it? i on ntl 1mb connected by usb. do i need an ethernet card, and connect the xbox to it and leave the modem on usb?

also is there any free online gameing site i can play on?

with your setup you - NTL cable broadband. You have two options:

1) Buy a cable broadband router and plug your xbox into that.

2) Stick a NIC in your PC, setup internet connection sharing and plink your xbox to the PC NIC.

there is free online gaming. The best is XLINK KAI. XBMC has xlink support built in and you will need to install the client on your PC.

yep, remember if you are connecting direct from PC to XBOX you will also need a crossover network cable.

lol i was about to post that i got a "A network cable is unplugged" i was useing a stright cable!!!

why do they have differant cables?
