There awhile ago I bought an xbox with a broken disc drive it would not read discs it was a lite on drive , so I had a spare benq drive and decided to spoof the drive putting the lite on key into the benq.
Anyway the spoofing of the drives was successful and I flashed it with lt 1.9.
I wanted to use that xbox to play burned games and I was playing a copy of fallout new vegas on it perfect . Then like a day later dead island came out on xbox and I decided to do a copy of it and when I put it in , it asked to do a update and I clicked on it to do the update , and the update kept freezing at the end and would not get anywhere. I then waited an hour and see will it be done , an hour later it still did not move so I had to turn it off.
When I turned it on it only got as far the the xbox 360 splash screen and no further ( I got onto the menu once or twice but it would not open tray ) . I have tried a number of different ways like taking of the hardrive etc.. So then I only realised that I should of not done an update on a spoofed drive . But only remember now that I had to do an update to play fallout new vegas aswell and nothing went wrong there??
So what I am planning to do is extract the original key out of the benq drive and but it in the original lite on drive but I need help in doing that as I forget how to extract keys it has been awhile since I extracted keys.
I was wondering would the xbox still be the same ( stuck on splash screen if I put the orignal keys in the original drive and got a new lens as the drive isnt reading any discs ?
