Hello everyone

So after spending two hours on the net on how to flash my x-box360 i decided to sign up here and get some help hopefully.
I read and watched tutorials and wanted to buy the things needed:

  • USB Connector tool (Xecuter X360USB, X360USBPro)
  • DVD Power-to-Molex adapter (Xecuter CK3 Lite). This isn't required if you are using the Xecuter X360USB tool, as it is already built in. If you are using the X360USBPro tool, you will need this adapter.
  • Probe (TX CK3 PROBE 3, TX SPUTNIK360 UNLOCK PROBE, MAXIMUS 360 SCORPION TOOL V2). This is only required for the Lite-On drive. No other DVD drive requires this tool.

I had to find out, that these things aint produced anymore and are barley hard to find for purchase.
In some shops recommended by the team xecuter website I found the firt two parts but got stuck to find a Probe to buy.

So my basic question is: How can I flash my old (3-4 years old) X-box 360 Lite-On drive? :)

I am looking for someone to do it for me if possible. If you know someone in europe doing this, please let me know...
As for the drive I think I have a Lite-On Phat drive. Since I am not sure, here is a picture of it. Can you tell me what drive it is?

Things are expensive in here, anything is higher priced than elsewhere :( but If i count in the delivery to NL, i would end up with the same price.

Another question. With the basic firmware flash, can I play any game burned to a DVD or are there still some restrictions?
For example games from U.S. or Japan...

you do realize you have to actually own the game to have a backup of it ?

If the original boots, then a backup of that original will boot (in region lock terms)
