need help flashing new chip

i know i'll probably get flamed for this, but i'm desperate.
bought a x2.6 from bald bouncer installed it and got to the flashbios screen, but am really unsure what to do next. i've read the post on using evtool etc,but i've tried versions 1.0.8 & 1.0.9 with the x2 4893 bios and keep getting kernel extraction failed. i've downloaded x2 5032 from xbins, but don't understand what it says about using the x2config tool and after reading the horror stories of people using wrong bios and destroying their chips i don't want to take any chances.
most of the flashing tutorials i have found need evox installed, but unless i'm wrong the chip needs a bios before evox can be installed

you can't use evtool to edit x2 4983
x2 4983 cannot be editted

the X2 5032 can be editted via the x2config.ini file which is placed on either the E or F drive

you can read over this tutorial on how to go about flashing your chip
