need help flashing

Hi!

I don't know anything about how to flash.
But i've done some reasearch and it doesn't make me any smarter...

In info on my xbmc it says:

Xbox v: 1.6

Can anyone tell me how to flash my bios?

if your running xbox media center then you already have a flashed bios.
are oyu looking to upgrade?
if so the tutorials really explain it simply as long as you still have flashbios on the chip(flick over the bios bank switch and re-boot)
i would recommend network flashing as its the easiest

i take it it allready flash and you are updateing bios
you will need to get bios frist x2 5035 v16 plus
then go to and learn how to make a bios cd with dummy file as well

the one you must do is change your bank setting once you get the flashbios screen up
if you get flashbios on bank 1 then flash the bios to bank 2
if you get flashbios on bank 2 then flash bank 1
do some search on flashing x2 chips before flashing so you learn from other people mishaps in this forum

ok, i've done all (burned a rw with bios and aummyfile) but how do i get my xbox to autostart from cd?

i can't make it work.

you put the cd in when flashbios ask for it you need to find flashbios on your x2 chip try diff bank

He might NOT have flashbios on his chip...

in all the over 50 xbox's I've moded, I've used another bios with the programer and flashed the whole 1mb of it, so the flashbios has been erased...

There are 2 ways to flash it that I can think of:

1.- Get the programmer (I mean "buy it"), unplug the chip from your xbox and flash it like this: http://www.teamxecuter.com/x2prog/?CMSSESSID=76a14d44fc43d15f838372a00f3f2d64

2.- There is an app that I saw in one of this post's (if I find the name I'll let you know), that you can flash it from you xbox, mabe sending the file to the hdd of your xbox or creating a dvd.... never used it before so I really don´t know how does it work.
