need help getting started

i havent touched an xbox 360 since 2008 so i have no clue about mods or firmware. if someone can walk me threw on whats safe to use online cause i plan on getting live again. i thought all i need to know was textbooks tutorial but i dont know if its outdated.

Flashed drives are as safe as they can be but nothing is 100 percent live safe. A dual nand setup is a good option as well, it is rgh on one nand and retail on another, best of both worlds really but more expensive

nothing but a stock console is safe on live, but if you do everything as you are supposed to and you equipment is good then it should be safe to flash the drive.
