GENERAL need help in buying a used x360

here in Egypt a new slim 4GB is approx $334 and i dont have that amount of money so i thought about buying a used one .. the problem is that i know nothing about buying a used one so if you can provide me with some tips to help

i found a used x360 .. all i know is that it's an x360 Fat white with 20 GB HDD , 2 joysticks and cables with manufacture date 25/9/2009 and used for 6 months for about $184
i dont know anything else so what else should i ask him about and how exactly should he/i know these things

and is it generally a good idea to get a used x360 ??

Depends on where you found the box... I've boughed several diffrent items that were used from people in this forum, they never let me down, everything is still working. I think it's better to ask for a box here, and not on ebay, here the people know what they are selling, and they can be trusted.

Generally speaking anything from july 2009 onwards should be a jasper, so as long as it's not been abused it will be perfect.

I allways ask if the warrenty seals are still intact.
