JTAG need help manually installing kinect update for jtagged xbox

I bought a kinect for a my jtag xbox 360 and it says a update is required to use kinect. I don't want to connect to live and update because I know that can mess something up.

How can I manually install this update to get kinect working?

I'm still new to the jtag thing so I don't know a whole lot. I bought the jtag console online. I didn't do it myself. The info the guy gave me about the console said "fbBuild .3(Dash 13146)"

I don't have a stock hdd on the console right now either. I have a 8gb usb stick plugged in right now until I get a stock hdd.

got it working. I downloaded the 13146 dash update from microsoft and put it on usb and updated.

works fine now and i got avatars working now too.

so umm all i want to ask is why a stock HDD? you know you can put ANY size GB HDD (has to be a 2.5 drive tho) inside the MS hdd enclosure.

and with that being said you dont even have to have an MS enclosure i think TX as well as XMC sell 360 2.5 HDD enclosures

yes I know you can do that I'm going to do that soon. I bought the console without the hdd because I was low on cash.

u could also install all games to hdd. dont ever need to use ur drive.
