LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Need Help Manually Rebuliding Dummy.bin Please

ok so here is my story guys, got an xbox slim with 0401 drive, anyway no key, so i rgh it and got the key,

tried liz fix but only works with 9504 drives, so anyway i got a donor dummy.bin from a 0401 drive, and wish if someone could guide me how to use hex editor and replace the hex line which contains the key and inject my key in it

i dont want to rgh the slim i want to play live, or i can upload the donor dummy and give someone the key and he can inject it if he knows what he is doing,

i hope someone could help me out with this, cause the xbox is brand new :crazy:

Just RGH it. It's much easier to use a console meant for XBL rather than trying to fix someone else's mess.

Well im leaving it as the last option actually martin even if it will take more time rebulding using hex editor i just wanna know what to do martin i wanna play my mw3 copy on it actually not a fan of jtag and rgh actually

you be lucky to get it sorted,as from what i been reading,it like a 0225 drive,cant be done.

cause i guess it can be done, thats all martin, so i managed to get a drive and get the key

only problem is that lizfix works with it and i merge the key and it reads as 9504

i guess anything can be done with hex edit, thats why i got a donor dummy of a 0401, and wanna inject the line of the key thats all so when i place it in JF it reads its and verifies thats all,

why did i buy the console, lets say for the challage thats all, im in need for a challage

so all i wish for if someone can guide me to the string in the dummy, i hope someone here could help, as the dummy contains so many strings and will be hard to find

It's not as simple as just editing a key. If it were, don't you think there would be tools out there to do it?

well ya your words are true, but i mean even if its that hard i wanted to try and if it failed i will have to go with rgh, thats all

goto address (Hex) A030
highlight 16 bytes. xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
paste/overwrite
file->save

That won't work and hasn't done so for a while. There's encryption in the slim firmware which prevents this from being done like this.
