hi i tried doing the x2 5035 ,i'm not sure if it worked. but after that i now got past the error 16 code. and when i boot the xbox i get this new message. Xecuter2 config live loading . then i get error 13. if i restart it a few more times i get error 21.

i'm not sure i'm burning my disc's the right way. i see you guy's use nero. i dont have that yet. i been trying to use a free burning app cd burnerxp pro 3 .maybe this is why i cant get slayers to load up? any tips how to get past these new errors i'm getting now.. i know im getting closer..

Xbox Error Codes Explained (link)

13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

16 - dashboard - Other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings (specific dashboard error)

21 - anywhere - This error says that the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag

The fact that you are getting the Xecuter Config Live loading screen means you flashed the bios properly. The way you burned the disc shouldn't be the problem, yet anyway. Is this the stock hard drive?

no the stock drive died , it made clicking sounds and then never would work. thats why i bought this mod chip. and couldnt get it going so far. but now that i did get the config loading menu i know im close to getting this working again. do you have any idea how i can get the error 13 to go away. for some reason i cant seem to get slayers install disc to boot .

You should be able to burn Slayer's with any software that will allow you to burn an image. You don't want to extract the ISO, just burn it. Try burning at a slower speed, or try different media. What kind of DVD drive do you have in the Xbox?

i have a philips drive.i guess i will pick up some cdrw+ and give that a try.
