RGH Need help restoring back to retail Zephyr

Hi All,

I got a zephyr console here which i was trying rgh 1 with coolrunner rev c and was getting inconsistent boot times, sometime in single pulse and sometimes 3-4 mins.
Finally decided to write back the retail nand and started getting error 0022. I tried using Martins tutorial http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92607

How long does it take to show 0022?

Round about 30 secs, boots in rgh so no problem with hardware.

So do your Xell fuses match your original dump?

Its working with rgh, but i dont want to kill the cpu with near 2 mins bootime.

That's not quite what i meant. I meant, you took this right as you made this post.

It is very important that we have a current xell pic to diagnose what could be wrong.

Personally, i would boot xell again to make sure nothing has changed.

I made this post today morning, right when I stopped working on that console. and ya it still boots xell

Ok, when you are testing stock NAND, are you removing the CR?

I think i remember having a sensitive zephyr where i had to remove STBY_CLK for it to boot stock even when the CR was in PRG.

I can't see anything wrong with the image. CB and CF/CG LDV look ok. The only concern is if the NAND has been built as the CB can change per Zephyr.

Yeah, this was my next question. However, the image supplied in the download looks to be original (not rebuilt), as it has both Patch 0 and Patch 1.

Thats right the cb changes when i create the retail image, and writing this image also does not work, change back to freeboot xbox boots.

Ok I will try removing the vcc and stby_clk and try once more. I was putting the switch to prg as always.

Well, you can try rebuilding NANDs now. The Xebuild retail.ini for 14699 has 4 CB choices.

4571, 4572, 4578, 4579

You can specify which you want to use easily in JR in the advanced xebuild settings tab. Under "all machine options," the second blank allows you to type in a CB you wish to use. rev [ ]
