Hi all,
I tried an update with a backup game DVD (XGD3), but failed with a strange error code that I cannot find by google.
Current status: the system update is stuck. If I start the xbox, the DVD drive reads awhile, and then the screen says "Can't read the update from the disc. Please reinsert the disc to continue the update", and the error code as in title. Actually the game DVD is in the drive.
Is it because I use a backup DVD? Will an original DVD of this game sovle this?
Please help!:frown:
More details:
Xbox 360: Slim
DvD Drive: Liteo-n 9504 (updated to 0272)
Jungle flasher version: 0.1.89b
SPI: 05 Winbond, now locked
Firmware: was LT+2.0, now OFW 9504
Dashboard: before this update -13146; now - unknown
Dashboard Update to: I dont know what version of the update the DVD provides, but it should be quite new, filename:su20076000_00000000, game name: Ace Combat 7 -AH
My drive was flashed to LT+2.0 with original pcb. It was working well with an old dashboard 13146 (the drive has been updated to 0272, but still unlocked).
What I did:
1. I made a big mistake: I accidentally accepted the update from the above XGD3 game DVD (backup), so after reboot, due to Lt+2.0, the xbox stopped with error: 335A-351f-B800-0401-C000-0001.
2. Then I replaced the original pcb with an TX replacement PCB, and then flashed it to stock FW 9504. And then tried to continue with the stopped update. But the xbox gave a new error 335A-351f-B800-0401-C000-0022. (Later, I realized the TX pcb cannot be used for updating even with OFW.)
3. So I replaced back with original pcb, and flashed it with OFW 9504. And then continued with the update. This time, the update progress bar moved forward a bit, but finally stopped with error messages as described in current status.
I tried copying the $SystemUpdate folder to a usb disk, but it doesn't help.
What shall I do? Please please help.
I myself guess there can be two possible reasons:
a. One is due to that the DVD is a backup, and the OFW will not read it. So shall I buy an original one (quite expensive) and try...
b. Or maybe I did not flashed my original pcb back to OFW in a good way, because I did not do ERASE in jungleflasher, but clicked WRITE directly, furthermore I did not click "Outro ATA/Reset". If so, shall I flash it back to OFW one more time? It is now locked due to the update(not finished though), and I don't want to drill the chip. Can I buy a MXIC pcb to replace it?
