As Martin said if you wish to use more than one pc. Purchase a USB pro. You can even use it on a laptop

Two answers here.
a) If you intend to connect an xbox drive using this controller, the results may vary but there is a chance that you will not see your drive using this controller, or the flash will fail. VIA was recommended since ever.
b) If you want to use X360USB Pro any controller will do, as you'll be using your USB.
It's that simple, really.
