Need help w/ BIOS

I have the xecuter 2.6 installed in my xbox and when I start it goes to blue menu screen. It has FlashBIOS 3.0.1 on bank 1 and 3.0.3 on bank 2. I am trying to use DVD+RW's to flash the bios but it does not seem to work. It reads the disc name but it does not do anything else I have tryed many things to put the bios on the disc and i am using nero to burn them to the disc but the xbox never can find bios. The xbox doesn't even tell me if it cant find bios like the tutorial on xecuter.com/flashbios states.

i have a few questions?
1) Do I even need to flash the bios to use an auto installer such as the slayer auto install?
2) How do I burn the BIOS to the DVD+RW and get the xbox to be able to find them?

Did you create your 100 mb dummy file with the executer flash? Are you flashing to bank 2? Flash protect off?

Yes, I created the dummy file and used bank2 with flash protect off and it doesnt work for me.

Have you used XBtool to create the bios for the flashes? Put the flashbios in bank one slots and the 512k executer 5035 in bank two slots. This will create your 1024k flash. Then create your dummy file and load those via Nero burning rom as IS0s onto the disk. I had a few issues with it until I did this and it flashed right away. Now I FTP everything to my box.

Don't do this. There is no need for a 1 meg bios. Have you tried flashing via HTTP? What about different media?
