LITEON DG-16D2S need help with botched flash

hi guys i've botched my flash due to (i think) power off timing issues. jungleflasher detects the usbpro but now comes up with no drive detected when it is. i have the dummy.bin with the drive key so i was hoping that someone could talk me through to getting my drive detected and then flashing it with lt3.0. this was my 1st try at flashing and i really want to get it sorted. thanks for your help :)

If it's a lite-on like your setup says and it's in the correct section then just press lite-on erase again.

Wait for the first row of dots to finish, and when the second set starts, turn you ck3 off and on very quickly. It will then be in vendor mode.

Load your source dummy.bin into the source button on first tab and autoload firmware.

Flash away as normal.

Also, as a side note. This has been put into threads more times than i care to think of. A search would have benefited you greatly

Don't worry too much about the time taken to power off/on - With x360usb It's not as much about catching it at the right time - This was for via users primarily as it helped avoid the "freeze"

Power off, on in second row of .... like stated above -

Alternatively,

Erase - Let Device Intro fail
Power cycle drive
Click Intro/DeviceID

This is all youre doing previously, just slowed down.

Skull the reason why it's not showing up is because there is no firmware on the drive right now. Like the other guys said just pick up where you left off. Make sure you have the source and target firmwares in there with the correct key....Do a Lite on Erase if you didn't do so already and then write.

After that your drive should be good to go.

Strange

2 quick questions. How are you powering the drive?

And have you tried a new USB Cable incase the end of the one your using is loose

using ck3 mini for power through usb and just tried again with different usb cables and usbpro removed did not occure just stops at writing bank 0

Perhaps the drive is drawing to much power from the usb connection. Can you post a pick of your setup

I believe it is stopping at flash because there is not enough power supplied at the writing stage

As mentioned above, an earlier version of jf was causing liteon drives to freeze during writing. That's why I asked for your log.

thats a link to the photo of my setup sorry about the quality my camera sucks. its basicly drive > sata > usbpro >usb > pc and power cable > ck3 mini > molex cable >usb adapter > pc. just updated to jungle flasher 1.92 beta with same results. tried plugging the molex usb direct to plug socket with an adapter and again same results. thanks for all your help this morning guys, i've gotta go to work but will check the thread when i get back for any new ideas.

I had a nice 10mins with head of IT getting my ass chewed off for activating the web security.....not very nice especially when I hate the foooker and he now has one over on me....

That link should be deleted by a Mod or Admin and the OP should be warned....sorry for Mini-Mod rant.....:frown:
