Like Blakey said use the link in his post to learn how to 'Attach' pics or use you free 'Album' space...:)

Re-upload a pic showing all the connections and we'll try again :p

is your cable that links the drive to ck3 the right way up? green cables facing up. the cable at the drive looks correct but where its plugged in2 the ck3 looks like it could be wrong way up.

i may be wrong as pic is on the side and the ck3 is floating in the air! lol.......

Buddy this might work:
1)Use dummy.bin source and your specific LT 3.0 firmware as target.
2)Spoof source to target.
3)Save the firmware file[Lt 3.0 firmware+key]
4)Follow this: Link

yeah its a bit of a dodgy pic lol, the green wires are facing up and the connections seem fine. techtona the link to that guide sounds promising. havent a clue about dos flash though. does anyone have a more noob friendly guide or link to a vid for that process? thanks

Unless you have reversed powered it you will be fine using JF.

1. Open JF
2. Connect drive
3. Select port 0x000
4. Power on drive
5. Load dummy.bin as source firmware
6. Allow autoload of LT+
7. Make sure source key matches target key
8. Click liteon erase
9. Power cycle when prompted to do so
10. you will see status 0x72 now click write.
11. Outro ata reset or just power off.

Done

You may need to repeat steps 8-11 before you get a drive response.
If that doesn't work then you have killed the drive.
