ANSWERED Need help with HDD selection

Hi, guys. I wanted some help. The thing is that I am going to get a hard disk for my Xbox 360 slim in a few days(2 or 3 days maybe). My Xbox 360 is a 4GB Slim console which is RGHed. I have been playing games on it with external hard drive but after reading lots of advantages of internal hard drive, I have decided to get one. The problem is that I am undecided with few things. Here they are:

1. Is it okay to get a third party HDD for my Slim, what can be the pros and cons. Can I run DLC's on it?
2. Can I use a laptop SATA HDD 2.5' in my Xbox 360 Slim? Will it run DLC's after getting formatted from the 360 Metro dash?

Another problem is that I am on a tight budget, I can't really afford the original Microsoft HDDs.I am looking to get a 120gb internal hard drive.
All types of suggestions will be appreciated. Please help!

any 2.5 sata hard drive u can use for your internal. Like u said just format it with the xbox in metro dashboard and u can use it for games,dlc,games saves etc. U don't have to use an official xbox HDD because your xbox is RGH.
