need help with hdd

I just bought a 200g hdd what all do I got to back up before I install?

X3 chip

1) Install the X3.
2) Boot to the Bios.
3) FTP to xbox and download everything from C, and E.

Ok I've got everything backed-up before and after the mod from C,E. So do I just install the new hdd? Then do I got to load it all back?

no, the magical x3 will do all that for you. It will find which computer on your network had the back up files and exactly where it is on your hdd. Pretty neat right?

Instal the new hdd (set jumpers to cable select) and load x3CL. In there select the set up new hdd or whatever it's called. Then select if you want a large 'f, no g' or 'f up to 137gb and g the rest' (i recomend large f, no g, but doesn't really matter) After that, then you can upload your files from your pc to your xbox..
