. OK Please dont grill me trying to learn im used to doing rgh with QSB. I got lucky and picked up a xenon 7371, cb 1903 i believe it was ( i do remember it was an exploitable CB I did check). Questions are:
1. I do realize that resistors are used in this process although in most of my looking has only seen them used making the LPC connection to read the nand. I read my nand and backed it up with JRP. So do I still need to get the diodes and resistors to wire the process up or are they just used for the nand dump. I am assuming I would need to go get the resistors and diodes (you need a chip for Rgh so this logic makes sense)

2. I happen to have a JTAG ALT QSB v2. without the wires laying around from ordering qsb for rgh. Is it possible to use these to Jtag with or just with CR4XL?

CB 1903 is jtagable. You need a nand reader(nand-x/jrp) and xenon jtag qsb or two 1n4148 diodes. You can use JTAG ALT QSB v2 with some improvisations, I would use it for falcon/jasper.

Thankyou for your quick response. I ill save the qsb and try the diodes first . I already have the nand read and backed up. By your answer im assuming that the diodes are all that is needed for the actual jtag and that the resistors are for the lpt for reading the nand only. Am I correct?

one more question since im using JRP and Jrunner to do this. I am susposed to write my xell reloaded file and then desolder JRP and Solder in the diodes befor I try to boot into xell for my keys correct otherwise E79?

you can leave the jr programmer soldered in the entire time, just unhook jr when trying to boot it.and yes e79 unless diodes are soldered in after xell is written.
