Need help with my drive

I picked up an extra console cheap and was going to flash the drive. When I plugged it in I noticed it was a Benq spoofed as a hitachi 46 on lt 1.9. Is it possible for me to update the drive to lt 3.0 and still go online? I understand Ill have to flash back to stock for updates and I have to use the key as the source to spoof over, I was just wondering if this would be online safe for the most part.

Any help would be appreciated. And please correct me if I am wrong about any of this lol

No you need to get the correct drive for the console for live
