as above, i need help with reading the nand on my xbox.

just bought the r-jtag ultimate kit v1.1 and its my first time doing nand reading/flashing since the original jtag came out which was at least 3+ years ago.

soldered all four QSB on and i cant even get past the first step of reading my nand. this is the error i got.
Code:
Bootloader Attached
Bootloader Version: 1.0.5
Bootloader Removed.
Version: 10
Flash Config: 0x01198010
Error: 201 reading block 1
Error: 201 reading block 2
Error: 201 reading block 3
01198010
Xenon, Zephyr, Opus, Falcon
CB Version: 5774
Falcon/Opus
Reading Nand to C:\Users\etsmee\Desktop\J-Runner\output\nanddump1.bin
Can not Continue
have checked for continuity between all the points and everything seems to check out fine, will desolder and resolder everything again (its 2.30am over here) when i wake up but just want to make sure that it is not just a software issue.

any help would be much appreciated,

thanks and regards

fill out the RGH / JTAG TEMPLATE please

are you always getting error when reading nand or just on the first 3 blocks ?

noticed in the log "can not continue" .. is JRP detected in j-runner at this time ?

sorry i did not came across the template post,

as for your questions sometimes it read one block, sometimes 3, and once it read the entire thing as shown in one of the screenshots.

you're getting right flash config so don't think its a soldering issue..

is the JRP on the latest firmware ?

can you get your hands on a nand-x and try using that with the wires already attached ?

@chase
this is my update process,

1. tools>update jr-p firmware.
2. select PICFLASH_E_1_0_5-JRP-V2 from commons folder
3. get device not found error
4. click on jr-p on quickmenu bar>bootloader mode
5. click on tools>update jr-p firmware again.
6. update begin immediately without choosing any firmware.

is this the correct update process? unfortunately i do no have any nand-x on hand, will try to ask around for it.

@vanis101
thanks for the link, there seems to be some troubleshooting steps i can take.

You could also try retouching one of you nand points on the smaller QSB, it looks a little dull. They should all look the same, that silvery shiny colour. Use flux and just go over it.
