Dont you flash slims people you should know what i mean the hardware on the drive ok i was using a replacement 16D4S with hardware A0A0 the original drive was harware version A0B0 right when i fixed the original drive it worked fine you see?

i just didnt know the hardware showed up in drive properties when flashing and i knew they were different cause like i said i was using a new pcb and a whole new drive

We do flash slims, some of us at least. We also uses this thing . That ends sentences and makes it easier for people to read and understand where one sentence ends and another begins.
And how the hell could the HW revision show in the drive property? Didnt you dump your original key and auto-load the new FW? I see no way for the xbox to know that the hw is changed, if it doesnt work different and needs another fw.

HW version has nothing to do with the PCB. I think you are making things up here :/
Clearly u do not know what your talkin about the hardware when i plug in the original pcb states in drive properties A0B0 ok that drive broke my replacent drive was hardware A0A0 both 16D4S you cannot use a replacement liteon drive with different hardware that was my problem wow

It has everything to do with it cause nither pcb would read games in a liteon 16D4S until i put the damn pcb back in the original dvd drive with the original hardware that reads in jungleflasher why dont you go plug in a slim pcb for yourself and then youll know oh and about the spelling im sorry you dont know to read

You are very incorrect, any 16d4s pcb will work in any 16d4s drive. In fact, any slim lite-on pcb will work in any slim lite-on drive.

If it didn't work, you did something wrong. Unfortunately, i have yet to be able to discern what you were trying to do and what you did.

I did nothing wrong cause when i put the tx pcb back in the fixed A0B0 hw 16d4s it read everything if i put the pcb back in that 16d4s with different hardware it reads nothing i think i know what im talkin about just cause u think people are below you doesnt mean they are but whatever you will see if it ever happenens to you take a pcb from a drive or instance fw 9504 which is now 0272 with hardware A0A0 and put it in a lite on fw 1071 hw A0B0 it will not read games i guarantee you i have tested it several times i have 6 xboxes

It says like reserved in the jungleflasher drive properties showing the hw version number when the pcb is plugged up so i think i know what im talkin about

How many xboxes do you think i have? Hint: its a lot more than six.
I just want it to be made clear that the issues you are having are not due to the reasons you are supplying.

Ok i believe you man im just saying that its kind of a crazy how discs would not even spin in that other drive the second i fixed the original drive from the gears 3 slim and stopped using the halo reach slims drive it worked and the halo reach drive is working with its own pcb in it strange

It might show the HW revision but it doesnt matter, if it didnt work then you did something wrong or your spare drive is broken. If the HW revision (that you should have read from your original drive) did matter, there should have been different FW for each HW revision. The Replacment PCB can never tell what hardware revision its connected to unless you tell it. So if you followed JF tut like you should have, then theres probably something wrong with your spare drive.
Idk cause i have both drives working now but maybe it was some simple mistake i made which usually dont happen sorry for wasting your guys time and all ive jus had that thing layin there for a while while i tryed to figure it out so it had me stresed thanks again i guess ill have to pay closer attention next time
