SAMSUNG MS28 Need help with Vendor Mode

Hi, on older versions of JF 1.084 and before I could get the drive into Vendor Mode no problem since then I can't get it into vendor mode again any JF version higher than that. I've switched between versions, restarted PC and tried countless times but no luck.

I don't have a CK3 Pro or X360USB.
It's the part when you have to unpower and repower the drive.
Always been told by pulling out the IDE and putting back in quickly, and has always worked but now it won't, tried the ways listed in the thread about SAMSUNG MS28 3 diff ways to do it. No luck.

Would a CK3 Pro actually help me get into vendor mode?

cant u just push the "sammy unlock" button in jf?

i assume your drive is flashed as you indicate you have unlocked it before, but you only use the tray half open method for older fw such as ixtreme 1.51/1.61 for stock drives and drives flashed with lt u use the sammy unlock button

What firmware is the drive currently running? If Sammy Unlock doesn't work (Stage # failed), try powering the drive with the tray half open method and send the Intro command. A CK3 will help you achieve this but you can also do it using the console as a power source (by pulling the black drive power cable).
